A Transport Planner with Sustainable Transport experience is required in Sydney for an Australian owned planning consultancy to work closely with a broad range of urban planning and design disciplines above and beyond transport.

In this position, you will be responsible for management of projects including:

• cycle routes,
• pedestrian and passenger transport planning,
• multi modal transport and
• strategic transport planning/forecasting

Other responsibilities include preparation of reports, feasibility assessments, presentations and strategic documents, preparation of fee proposals and liaison with sub-consultants.

Key abilities in problem solving, developing mentoring skills, sound communication skills and technical knowledge will be utilised extensively and you must be self disciplined to be successful in this supportive close knit team environment.

To be successful in this role, you will need previous industry experience including:

• An industry related qualification
• Knowledge planning for sustainable modes, traffic demand and modal integration
• Excellent transport analytical ability
• Capacity to implement data collection methodology and work with allied professionals
• Experience in preparing and delivering presentations internally & externally
