- Public & Private Sector clients across Transit, Freight, Heavy Haul/Pit to Port
A skilled & industry recognised Rail Systems Engineering Manager is required to join the Brisbane office of our client, a tier one engineering firm.
- Management responsibilities for a team of engineers, lead and provide technical input to the rail system design team.
- Manage and undertake technical reviews of deliverables.
- Lead and participate in project and client reviews
- Deal with and develop relationships with private and public organisations to bid develop and business develop within a strong and growing team of professionals across mining, ports and freight.
- Provide informal leadership to the rail systems team of rail operational and rail alignment design
The workload includes Major projects both local and national where the firm is in the role of lead consultant and as such the following is required for the position;
Skills/Experience Required
- 15 years plus experience required in rail operational and rail alignment design areas and major projects.
- Train control/power system design experience.
- Working knowledge of QR systems and standards highly desirable
- Leadership skills are essential along with a professional attitude
