- Rail Project Design Manager
- Brisbane Based Engineering Consultancy
- <$180k plus package but negotiable
- Established and growing pipeline of work
- Variety of public and private clients and projects
As a proficient Project or Design manager you will bepart of the core rail team, overseeing rail project delivery in a team of environmentalists, civil designers, system designers, architects and drsaftpersons.
You will be required to deliver and develop major rail projects across mining, resources, public and private rail ventures and projects in the Queensland market and region in the growing rail division of a major international consultancy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and undertake technical reviews of deliverables on Rail projects
- Lead and develop client and projects relationships in meetings and in reviews
- Develop new opportunities within exisiting solid relatioshios and frameworks
- Manage production on projects
The workload includes Major projects both local and national where the firm is in the role of lead consultant and as such the following is required for the position;
Role Requirements
- Experienced rail design engineer,
- 10 years plus experience in rail design, project management, and/or major rail project delivery
- Current knowledge of rail engineering methods, applicable codes and specifications.
- Experience of the design process, constrcution methods and interface and stakeholder requirements of multi-disciplinary projects.
