This firm have been one of the most active in acquiring talented rail engineers and professionals over the last twelve months. They are still building their capability but have already had a number of successes in winning work and this has been with State and Private Rail operators and in partnership with a number of tier one contractors.
The role will require good local contacts and knowledge and they must be prepared to dig in and build the division with the other senior managers associated with this venture. The firm is willing to invest not just in giving this role an attractive remuneration but also allowing a broad remit in terms of recruitment policy to allow this person to recruit the top people in this field to establish the firm as a key player in the mid to long term.
Current relationships have been built off the back of an impressive track record in major projects but now technical knowledge and reputation are required in this specialist field.
This role will not be right for all those that read this, however I am happy to have an open and frank discussion about the pro's and con's of this role in comparison to the other firms looking in the Queensland market.
