A Senior Infrastructure Cost Consultant/Estimator is required by our Client, a global building, resources and infrastructure assets consulting group who provide independent solutions to stakeholders in the construction industry. With a focus on developing and maintaining long-term business relationships, the group delivers services to an extensive list of major public and private sector clients and is underpinned by traditional values, professionalism and enthusiastic staff.
The Role
The Senior Infrastructure Cost Consultant/Estimator will be working mainly on NSW infrastructure projects and alliances including power, water and rail works. Core responsibilities will include effective delivery of feasibility studies, estimating, cost and contract management services on major and complex projects/services, contributing to the profitable growth of the infrastructure business and maximising business development opportunities.
The Individual
To be eligible for this opportunity, applicants will need:
- A Degree or Diploma in Construction Economics and/or Quantity Surveying or Engineering
- 10+ years operational experience in delivering and managing professional services on projects to $1bn value
- Knowledge of first principal estimating
- Understanding of mechanical works involved in major infrastructure projects
- Membership of RICS and/or AIQS preferable
