Civil Design Draftsperson – Perth (J001233)

A global multi-disciplinary consultancy delivering buildable and efficient engineering solutions in the fields of Structural, Civil, Fabric, Hydraulic, Mechanical, Electrical engineering.

The Role


Reporting to the Civil Manager you will be responsible for undertaking detailed design of varying scope and complexity under the direction and guidance of more Senior Engineers. You will be required to produce quality detail design on 12D and AutoCAD or other computer program system in use within the office, and assist Engineers/Drafters in the production of contract documentation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrate experience in civil engineering projects including roads, water, sewer reticulation, residential and rural subdivisions, commercial, industrial and retail developments.
  • Produce detailed drawings to Engineers/Drafters sketches and check drawings for completeness prior to issue to Project Engineer/Project Drafter.
  • Operate AutoCAD system in accordance with CAD system procedures
  • Using a combination of standard and modified drafting methods / techniques in addition to those developed in previous assignments for the purposes of solving problems.
  • Developing skills on the application of 12D and computer aided drafting (CAD).
  • Developing skills on the application of PC Drain and PC Sewer.
  • Acts as the Project Drafter under direction of Senior Civil Engineer.

The successful candidate must possess a minimum of five years full time relevant professional experience to be eligible for this opportunity.
