The focus within the Calibre Rail sector is on the engineering and delivery of rail projects across Australia. This includes green field, brown field, renewals and modification of Federal, State and Private railway systems.

Principal Electrification Engineer, Sydney - 201150
The role of Principal OHW/Electrification Engineer is a technical lead position and will be a role of authority in this space for New South Wales so a strong technical background in the industry is essential. The team is four strong at present, comprising two senior engineers and two at a more junior level. They have plenty of ongoing contracts with the Rail Authorities but in order to cement their place in the market need someone with extensive technical knowledge who can interact with colleague's and clients on technical matters in alignment, renewals and modification.
Principal Track/Civil Engineer, Sydney - 201151
The Track division of our client requires a lead technical capability with a minimum of ten years direct experience in the areas of Track Alignment, Track Geometry, Track Renewals and Modification. The role will involve dealing with clients in terms of ongoing technical matters and working on future tender delivery whilst also playing an active role in peer review and mentoring of more junior team members, of which there are three at present. In terms of support, the structure includes a business manager and a client manager so the role will not include the general management of staff nor any business development responsibilities.
Principal Engineer, Permanent Way Brisbane - 201142
Our client has built up their capabilities and subsequently reputation in the Rail sector across Australia in the last five years and with a strong pipeline of work in Queensland require a Principal Permanent Way Engineer to further expand their strength in this field. Ideal will be someone with ten to fifteen years experience in the Permanent Way Rail sector although local Queensland experience not essential both this and at least some international project exposure will be advantageous.

They are still building their capability but have already had a number of successed in winning work and this has been with State and Private Rail operators and in partnership with a number of tier one contractors.
