A Civil Design Leader/Manager opportunity has arisen within a well established design consultancy brand in Queensland. The successful applicant will take up an influential lead role within the Gold Coast office of this leading structural and civil design organisation and manage from the front. This is a unique opportunity to get involved in high profile Queensland design projects in a proactive, team environment.

In this role you will be responsible for planning and conducting engineering projects of a complex nature in order to meet client requirements. Additionally you will also supervise engineers of different levels, develop and maintain relationships with clients and assume responsibility for management of small, medium and large scale projects.

In order to be successful for this role you will need:

• 7+ years industry experience across a range of projects
• A proven track record in subdivision projects
• A desire and ability to continue developing the current business
• Membership of the Institute of Engineers and a Registered Professional Engineer (RPEQ) will be highly regarded, as will land development experience

A background in management would be advantageous, however this opportunity is also available to those applicants from a technical background who have good interpersonal skills and are looking for the next step in their career.
