Moving to Australia

A number of options are available if you are not an Australian citizen, but below are two of the most common that we work with.

Consultation / Visa Advisory Services

Calibre work closely with a Law firm that specialise in 457 (employer sponsorship) and Permanent Residency applications. Permanent Residency

Also known as the General Skilled Migration program, permanent residency is for people who are not sponsored by an employer, but have particular occupational skills required in Australia. Applicants must be over 18 and under 45 years of age, with good English language ability, and possess either recent skilled work experience or a recently completed eligible Australian qualification.

Employer Sponsorship

The Employer Nomination Scheme allows Australian employers to sponsor highly skilled workers who are foreign nationals to obtain a permanent visa to work in Australia. Eligible candidates may be either highly skilled workers based overseas, or highly skilled temporary residents who are currently in Australia.
